பொருள்
ஒரே நாட்டில், சமூகத்தில் அல்லது வீட்டில் ஊட்டச்சத்துக் குறைபாடும் அதிக எடை / உடல் பருமனும் ஒருசேர இருப்பது.
இந்தியாவில் வளர்ச்சிக் குன்றலும் இரத்தசோகையும் இன்னும் அதிகம்; அதே நேரம் குழந்தைகளிடமும் பெரியவர்களிடமும் அதிக எடை அதிகரிக்கிறது (NFHS-5). எனவே பசியையும் ஆரோக்கியமற்ற உணவையும் ஒரே நேரத்தில் எதிர்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
விடையில் பயன்படுத்துவது: ஊட்டச்சத்து, உணவுப் பதப்படுத்துதல், பொது விநியோகம், தொற்றா நோய்கள் பற்றிய விடைகளில் NFHS-5 தரவுடன் பயன்படுத்துங்கள்.
Meaning
Under-nutrition and overweight/obesity existing together in the same country, community or household.
India still has high stunting and anaemia, while overweight among children and adults is rising (NFHS-5). Policy must therefore fight hunger and unhealthy diets at the same time.
