Tamil Nadu's School Education Department introduced the 'Palli Paarvai 3.0' app (Oct 2026) to digitise inspections and classroom monitoring in government schools and raise teaching quality. Chief Educational Officers, District Educational Officers and block officials must record their school visits in it, and inspection data flows straight into EMIS. It has 5 sections: student attendance, classroom observation, spot assessment, project interventions (Vasippu Iyakkam, clubs) and an observation report.
